Ends Meat is a whole-animal butcher shop in Industry City, Brooklyn. They butcher their own pigs, make breakfast sausage in house, and sell damn fine sandwiches and meat bowls. The other day, John showed us how he butchers a pig and grinds the lean shoulder meat, fat, spices, maple syrup, and pork stock into delicious breakfast sausage.

The All-American breakfast consists of basic items like eggs, bacon, potatoes of some sorts, toast, or pancakes if you’re willing to spend the extra dough. Let me show you how to not spend an unreasonable amount of money on basic breakfast items and how to make them at home and under 2 dollars!
Got the habit of skipping breakfast? Yes, no? Well, whatever your answer may be, just have it in mind that this meal is super important.
So yes, if you happen to be one of the many people who find it hard to eat something in the morning, just know that you’re doing your precious body more harm than good.
In fact, you’re not doing it any good!
Still in doubt?
Well, here are 5 strong reasons why you should eat breakfast every morning.
1. Breakfast Keeps You Healthy
First off, chances are you’ve been under the misconception that skipping breakfast save calories that you can use later in the day when your stomach begins to growl.
Well, sorry to burst your bubble but that’s the pretty much one of the biggest lies ever told.
Contrary to what you think, eating a super healthy breakfast in the morning can help keep your blood sugar levels in check and that’s great.
On the flip side, when you fail to take something in the morning, you’ll end up feeling hungry throughout the day — in fact, the pangs may come much quicker than you thought!
2. Breakfast Gives You Energy
Got several different goals to achieve during the day?
If so, you won’t be wrong to kick things off with a hearty morning meal.
It’s never a good idea to skip breakfast regardless of how busy or less hungry you are in the morning.
Yes, you actually need all the nutrients in a healthy breakfast to carry out your daily tasks with ease — remember, there are times when you have no choice but to wait for hours before grabbing your next bite!
All in all, don’t skip breakfast if you want to stay active and strong for the day’s many tasks.
3. Breakfast Helps You Manage Your Weight
Sounds strange right? Well, it shouldn’t! Breakfast actually increases your chances of losing weight or keeping your overall weight in check.
When you adopt the habit of eating breakfast in the morning, you’ll find it incredibly easy to resist the urge to reach out for junk food later in the day.
And of course, your chances of staying in shape are higher when you have little to no junk food in your life! Moreover, consuming more calories in the morning and fewer as the day goes on is an effective way to maintain a healthy weight.
4. Breakfast Gives You Much-needed Nutrients
Skipping breakfast is the same as skipping nutrients — it’s as simple as that.
When you choose not to enjoy a hearty meal at the start of the day, you won’t be able to make up for the lost nutrients.
The good news? You can start getting your nutrients today — just eat breakfast!
5. Breakfast Improves Your Mental Capacity
Want to be mentally alert and attentive during the day? Who wouldn’t want to?
Well, just don’t skip this all-important meal! Today, there are quite a number of breakfast foods that boast the capacity to fire up your brain and take your creativity to the next level.
Some smart, brain-boosting breakfasts include Whole grain toast with smoked salmon or avocado, oatmeal with blueberries, egg sandwich, Cereal with Peaches and Milk just to name a few.
So now what? Well, it’s about time to take breakfast serious! D
on’t skip it and no, don’t skimp on it — just eat it! Stay healthy!

Why breakfast is very important. For a long time, breakfast has held a lofty title as the so-called “most important meal of the day”. And it makes some sense; breakfast is the first part of the day in which we nourish ourselves and load up on calories for the day ahead. But is breakfast really as important as it claims to be? After all, it seems as though an increasing number of people seem to skip the meal altogether. So just how important is breakfast? Well, the short answer is “very”, but maybe not for the most obvious reasons.

Summary:
So if you’re the kind of person who usually skips out on a morning meal, what can we say that might make you reconsider? Well for starters, studies have seemed to indicate that eating breakfast can potentially lower your risk for heart disease. According to a study from the University of Iowa and published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, missing out on breakfast can potentially have a negative effect when it comes to your cardiovascular health. Based on the findings of the study, people who opted out of starting their day with a meal could be as much as 87 percent more likely to suffer from a heart disease-related death compared to people who ate breakfast on the daily. That’s…a really high number. Ouch.
The author of this particular study was Wei Bao, an assistant professor of epidemiology at the University of Iowa’s College of Public Health. In an interview with the website Healthline, Bao reiterated the claim that, yes, breakfast really is the most important meal of the day. According to Bao:
“Healthy eating plays a major role in the prevention of cardiovascular disease […] However, previous studies mainly focused on the content of what people eat. Not much is known about how people organize their meals. This is the first study to link skipping breakfast to cardiovascular death”.
The American Heart Association also attests that people who skip breakfast in the morning appear to have an increased risk of heart disease as well as diabetes and high cholesterol. For even more evidence on the link between breakfast and physical health, research published in the journal of nutrition makes the claim that skipping breakfast once per week can make you 6 percent more likely to develop type 2 diabetes. From there, the numbers only continue to rise: skipping breakfast 4 or 5 times a week can instead increase your type 2 diabetes risk by as much as 55 percent!

McDonald’s is famous for its breakfast menu, and you probably already have some favorites from the standard options. But there’s no need to limit yourself to the official selections. With that in mind, here are the best McDonald’s breakfast hacks to start your day off right.
In 2015, McDonald’s started to roll out all-day breakfast. While the obvious takeaway is that you can now order McMuffins and McGriddles whenever you want, there’s another benefit: eggs are being cooked all day, which means that they’re available as an add-on to whatever you like. Thus we’ve entered the era of the brunch burger!
Pretty much any order is fair game for eggs, from Big Macs to Quarter Pounders. That goes for both the round eggs, which are the fresher ones, and the yellow square folded eggs, which are made with a liquid egg mixture. Both turn your everyday McDonald’s burger into a brunch burger special. Of course, just because you can order something doesn’t mean the cashier taking your order will know what you mean, so be prepared for some potential pushback from employees. One of the best ways to use the egg addition is to make Dollar Menu items more filling, resulting in a satisfying sandwich that’s still pretty cheap.

McDonald’s breakfast sandwiches are an incredibly tasty and addictive way to start the day. But what exactly is it that makes these breakfast sandwiches so good? From syrupy McGriddles to Egg and Sausage McMuffins, here’s why McDonald’s breakfast sandwiches are so deeply delicious.
A lot of the breakfast sandwiches served at McDonald’s aren’t made with pre-cooked or reheated eggs… they’re made with fresh eggs. The eggs in the two classic McMuffin sandwiches are cracked right before cooking, so they hit your mouth hot off the griddle. Breaking news!
Meanwhile, there are some McDonald’s breakfast options that aren’t made with fresh eggs: the biscuit sandwiches, the bagel sandwiches, and the McGriddle sandwiches. According to the official McDonald’s website,
“[These sandwiches contain] liquid eggs that are pre-cooked and folded before being flash frozen by our suppliers.”
The eggs are reheated before being plopped onto your sandwich, and while they taste fine, there’s a palpable lack of the freshness that makes McMuffin sandwiches so friggin’ tasty.

3:13 Coffee
4:51 Bacon, Egg and Cheese Bagel
6:07 Steak, Egg & Cheese Biscuit
7:26 Fruit N’ Yogurt Parfait

10:18 Bacon, Egg and Cheese McGriddle
11:20 Egg McMuffin
12:55 Hash Browns
SUMMARIES:
– Like the Yogurt Parfait, Fruit and Maple Oatmeal probably isn’t what you think of when you think about breakfast at McDonald’s.
– With the McDonald’s Big Breakfast with Hotcakes, you can get a taste of almost everything.
– McDonald’s coffee is actually good – even better than good – and since you’re already there getting breakfast, adding a cup of java to your order makes sense, and the coffee standard is at a level where you won’t be disappointed.
– Putting the Bacon, Egg and Cheese bagel at such a low spot on this list may look to be implying that the biscuit vs. bagel debate has been decided with the biscuit winning.
– The reason why the Steak, Egg & Cheese biscuit is sitting in this spot is because of the biscuit.
– The Fruit N’ Yogurt Parfait is a cup of low-fat vanilla-yogurt, fresh blueberries and strawberries and they even give you a little packet of granola to pour on top for an added crunch.
– Did you know that the McGriddle has been around since 2003?
– Everyone knows that everything tastes better with bacon and the McGriddle breakfast sandwich is no exception.
– The Egg McMuffin is definitely breakfast and it is the oldest item on the Mickey D’s breakfast menu.
– Hash browns have been on the menu since 1977 when McDonald’s took breakfast national and introduced it into every one of its restaurants.
